Vertical 3,060 feet; 3,078 skiable acres; 25 lifts including 2 high-speed six-packs; 143 trails; and the longest run 4.6 miles

 

Founded in 1940, the Winter Park Ski Resort offers world-class skiing and riding over five interconnected mountain areas: Winter Park (summit: 10,700 ft), Mary Jane (summit: 11,200 ft), Vasquez Ridge (summit: 10,700 ft), Vasquez Cirque (summit: 12,060 ft) and the Parsenn Bowl (summit: 12,060 ft.) The Resort is referenced as having two distinct sides; the Winter Park side, which caters more to the beginner and intermediate skier/rider, in comparison to the Mary Jane side, which is known for its moguls, glades, and multitude of advanced and expert runs.

          Bed and Breakfast plus Dinner

TimberHouse is an old style ski lodge that is tucked away in the trees away from the crowds, but located just 700 yards from the Winter Park Ski Resort lifts. Family style breakfasts and dinners are served daily by the staff. You get ski-in service for off mountain prices. A free ride to and from the mountain is available but take the Billy Woods trail at the end of the day back to TimberHouse. The lodge has hot tubs, pool tables, table tennis and reading.                                                                                                                                                                

 

Price of $1470 less $50 for seniors and $115 for 70+.  (Land only deduct $410 – Single Supplement add $205)   Price caveat: Winter Park has not set 2012 lift rate and airlines can raise the gas & tax fee.     Neither is expected to be large.

Ø    Five of six day Adult Lift Ticket  (6th day lift ticket available for $53/$43/$30)

October 1, 2011:  $300
November 1, 2011:  $300
December 1 2011:  $270 (plus $53 for an additional 6th day lift ticket if desired)

Cancellation Policy:

Ø    SSS Ski Club Policy a $25 cancellation fee for any reason.

Ø    After October 1, 2011             -$100 per person

Ø    After November 15, 2011             -$300 per person

Ø    After January 15, 2012             -Full forfeiture
